I offer short term therapy or long-term psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy either face-to-face, on telephone or on-line via zoom or skype. Challenges and adversity are opportunities for growth. Trauma forms part of who we are and part of the inheritance both from our ancestors. Within this journey is where we find our strengths and resources. My role as a guide or 'witness' in our shared journey is to find purpose and meaning - strategies for self-empowerment through creativity and using an holistic approach. Many people who undergo serious trauma or life-changing events require a holistic approach to treatment; where people are understood and not judged and can be confident in a shared journey and positive outlook.
I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist.
and a fully-accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and a member of the British Psychological Society and also a fully-qualified Breathworks mindfulness teacher.
I specialise in;
Bereavement and loss, and transgenerational trauma
Absent fathers: The effects of abandonment.
"I believe we are all on a constant journey of becoming. And many of us have now the opportunity of 'tuning into' and listening to our own inherent wisdom, our bodies and each other as we elevate our collective conscious. This process is facilitated through group mindfulness for people of colour. I offer a space of reflection, for re-evaluating and restructuring the elements of our psyche which are lost, broken and forgotten within the intersectionality of therapy, retreats and workshops.
