About the event
William Fley A clinician in private practice with a speciality in 'Absent fathers' and its effects on adult mental health. A fully accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, British Psychological Society graduate member and Breathworks Mindfulness trained, he has worked with the NHS as a bereavement counsellor and also worked with adult survivors of crime. He holds Master's degrees from Birkbeck College, the University of London and Roehampton University. He is the founder of the Mindfulness Network for People of Colour which aims to bring awareness of racialized trauma through mindfulness-based interventions and to influence accessibility to mindfulness training. He continues to pursue his passion to eliminate cultural and other barriers to accessing mindfulness by encouraging cultural awareness and responsiveness. In July 2020 MNPC was the first organization in the world to host a poc online retreat.
